The CEO of Qatar Airways said that the company's ten Airbus A 380 aircraft will likely not be used for several years due to the impact of the Coronavirus crisis on demand.
We do not expect to use our (380A) aircraft for at least the next two years," Qatar Airways Chief Executive Akbar Al-Baker told an Internet conference. The Corona pandemic and the measures taken to limit the spread of the emerging virus have greatly affected the aviation and tourism sector, and the losses of these two sectors are estimated at tens of billions of dollars.
