Greek media revealed the details of the dangerous espionage operation, its hero, the secretary of the Turkish consulate on the island of Rhodes, where he was spying on the Greek Navy and gathering military information about the army, according to the local newspaper "Greek City Times".

According to the newspaper, the Turkish consulate secretary is a 35-year-old Muslim of Greek origin, while the other works as a chef on a cruise ship called "Stavros".

It stated that the Turkish consulate official issued an arrest warrant against him after the emergence of new evidence proving his involvement in the espionage operation, despite his denial of the accusations against him.

Regarding the details, the newspaper says that computers, mobile phones and 4 electronic devices for storing information were found during searches at homes of potential spies, and they were transferred to the forensic laboratories of the Greek police.

In the house of the Turkish consulate secretary, the police found 4 computers and 8 mobile phones, as the authorities are investigating that the divers obtained information about the Greek armed forces in some islands near the Turkish border.

According to the newspaper, the authorities, accompanied by the two accused of spying, found more than 2,500 pictures of Greek submarines while they were docked on the island of Rhodes.

On the other hand, the 54-year-old cook admitted that he was recruited by the secretary of the Turkish consulate in Rhodes, to provide information about the Greek army's movements in the Megisti complex on the Greek island of Kastelorizo ​​off the coast of Turkey.
