Al-shaikh Zayed , Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Defence Minister, reiterated that President His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan is one of the very few leaders in this modern era .
Sheikh Zayed said that August 6, 1966, was no longer the National Day for the people in Abu Dhabi alone, but was the National Day for all the people of the seven emirates. He praised Sheikh Zayed for his significant role in the building of the country's modern civilisation.
