Mohamed bin Zayed orders $100 million in humanitarian aid to be provided to Ukrainians

 His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, has ordered the provision of additional humanitarian relief aid worth $100 million to the Ukrainian civilians affected by the crisis in Ukraine. Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation: This additional aid comes from From the belief of His Highness the President of the State in the importance of human solidarity, especially in cases of wars and conflicts, and it is part of the UAE’s continuous efforts to mitigate the humanitarian repercussions of the Ukrainian crisis.

His Majesty The State's President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God keep him safe, has directed the distribution of further humanitarian aid totaling $100 million to Ukrainian people impacted by the conflict in their country. The Minister of State for International Cooperation is Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy. This increased assistance is part of the UAE's ongoing efforts to lessen the humanitarian effects of the Ukrainian crisis and stems from His Highness the President of the State's conviction in the value of human solidarity, particularly in situations of war and conflict.

She pointed out that the UAE has provided similar relief aid over the past months to Ukrainian civilians affected by the crisis, as well as operating planes carrying relief aid for Ukrainian refugees in Poland and Moldova, in response to the urgent appeal of the United Nations and the regional refugee response plan from Ukraine.

She emphasized that in response to the UN's urgent appeal and Ukraine's regional refugee response plan, the UAE had recently offered comparable relief aid to Ukrainian citizens affected by the situation as well as flown planes transporting aid to Ukrainian refugees in Poland and Moldova.
