Khalifa University Rises 25 Places in the QS World University Rankings 2026, Now Ranked 177 Globally
Khalifa University of Science and Technology has climbed 25 spots to rank 177th globally in the QS World University Rankings 2026, affirming its position among the world’s top 200 universities.
The university has maintained its position as the top-ranked institution in the UAE for the eighth consecutive year, reinforcing its status as a national leader in higher education and scientific research. In the 2026 edition, Khalifa University excelled in several key indicators:
Ranked 11th globally for International Faculty.
Highest ranked university in the UAE for:
International Students,
Citations per Faculty,
Faculty-to-Student Ratio.
Achieved 37th globally in Academic Reputation.
These rankings highlight Khalifa University's strength in attracting global talent and producing impactful research.
The QS 2026 Rankings evaluated more than 8,467 universities across 106 countries. Khalifa University also ranked first among the 12 UAE universities in Graduate Employability, with a 94% employment rate for its graduates.
Professor Sirri Ibrahim Al-Hajri, President of Khalifa University, stated:
