 The UAE President discusses cooperation and regional developments in phone calls with the French President and Italian Prime Minister

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, held two separate phone calls with His Excellency Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, and Her Excellency Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of the Italian Republic, to discuss strategic relations and ways to strengthen them across various sectors to serve mutual interests.

During the calls, His Highness also discussed with both leaders the ongoing developments in the Middle East, particularly the implications of Israeli military operations against the Islamic Republic of Iran on regional security and stability. The leaders emphasized the importance of exercising maximum restraint and intensifying efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region, advocating for resolving disputes through diplomatic means that safeguard the region’s security and stability.
