 UAE President and Canadian Prime Minister Discuss Bilateral Relations and Shared Issues in Phone Call

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (may God protect him), and His Excellency Mark Carney, Prime Minister of Canada, discussed today during a phone call the cooperation and joint work between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in a manner that serves their mutual interests.

During the call, His Highness and the Canadian Prime Minister also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common concern and exchanged views on them.

The conversation also touched on the importance of the upcoming G7 Leaders’ Summit, which Canada is hosting from June 15 to 17. They highlighted the summit's role in enhancing international cooperation to support global economic stability and address shared global challenges, particularly in the areas of energy security and advanced technology.

In this context, His Highness expressed his appreciation to His Excellency Mark Carney for the invitation to participate in the summit, considering it a reflection of the international recognition of the UAE’s vital role in these key global matters.
