UAE President and Hungarian Prime Minister Discuss Bilateral Relations in Budapest
In a significant step towards strengthening bilateral ties, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, met with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary during an official visit to Budapest. The high-level discussions focused on enhancing cooperation across a wide range of sectors, including the economy, trade, investment, technology, infrastructure, and renewable energy—key areas that support mutual growth and sustainable development.
During the meeting, held at the Hungarian Prime Minister's Office, His Highness reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to deepening collaboration with Hungary, emphasizing the importance of building constructive partnerships grounded in mutual interests and shared prosperity. He highlighted the UAE’s consistent approach to fostering international cooperation and contributing to global stability and development.
Prime Minister Orbán welcomed the visit of the UAE President, noting that it marks an important milestone in the ongoing development of the bilateral relationship. He expressed confidence that the visit would give strong momentum to cooperation across multiple fields of mutual interest.

As part of the official visit, Prime Minister Orbán hosted a state dinner in honor of His Highness the President and the accompanying delegation, attended by senior Hungarian officials.
Additionally, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed visited the historic Hungarian Parliament building. Accompanied by Prime Minister Orbán and UAE officials, he toured the iconic architectural landmark and was briefed on its cultural and historical significance.
