Abu Dhabi is the safest city in the world for the 10th consecutive year
Abu Dhabi has renewed its global achievement by topping the list of the safest cities in the world for the tenth consecutive year since 2017, according to an international report issued by Numbeo, one of the leading global statistics platforms specializing in security indicators, quality of life and cost of living.
This successive ranking confirms Abu Dhabi’s global leadership in establishing a system of security, stability and quality of life, and highlights its status as a global destination for living, working and investing.
His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoun Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, said that this achievement is the fruit of a wise leadership vision and continuous support from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and integrated institutional work, and sincere efforts made by Abu Dhabi Police personnel around the clock, supported by advanced proactive strategies, smart use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence, and a conscious community partnership that forms the first line of defense for the security and stability of society.
His Excellency explained that this strategy reflects an integrated approach based on developing human competencies, strengthening institutional partnerships, and empowering society through awareness and participation, in addition to continuous investment in modern technologies and smart systems that support decision-making and enhance public safety, in line with best global practices and achieving the highest levels of community reassurance.
Major General Sheikh Mohammed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police, affirmed that this global ranking embodies the success of the wise leadership vision that made human security a fundamental focus of sustainable development, and contributed to building a safe and attractive environment for living, working and investing, and established Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading global model in urban security and quality of life.
