Mohammed bin Zayed and the President of Finland discuss bilateral relations and regional developments
Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and Alexander Stubb, President of the Republic of Finland, discussed bilateral relations and regional developments.
During a telephone call on Tuesday, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and Alexander Stubb, President of the Republic of Finland, discussed various avenues of development cooperation and joint work between the two countries, and ways to strengthen and advance them for the benefit of their people.
During the call, both sides affirmed their shared commitment to advancing UAE-Finnish relations towards broader horizons, particularly in the fields of economy, education, advanced technology, artificial intelligence, space, innovation, sustainability, and other areas that serve the common development priorities of the two countries and fulfill the aspirations of their people for progress and prosperity.
The President of the UAE and the President of Finland also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common interest and exchanged views on them, most notably the developments in the Middle East region and the efforts being made towards them.
They stressed the importance of working to promote peace and stability at the regional and global levels, and resolving conflicts through dialogue and diplomatic solutions in the interest of all, based on the two countries’ approach to supporting cooperation, peace and development in the world.
