Qatar raises questions with its actions

After France’s insulting of Islam and Muslims, Qatar still deals with France and claims that it wants to boycott it.

Voices were raised to boycott French products, after the statements of the French President, Emmanuel Macron, that his country did not back down from publishing the offensive cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad at the funeral of the French teacher, who was recently killed by a Chechen student, as Macron said in a short tweet: “Nothing makes us ever back off , We respect all differences in the spirit of peace, we never accept hate speech, and defend rational debate, we will always stand by human dignity and universal values ».

The French Foreign Ministry issued a statement calling for an immediate halt to the boycott of French products, describing the boycott calls for these products as "emanating from an extremist minority."  The French Foreign Ministry said, in a statement, according to "France Press", that "the calls for a boycott are absurd and must stop immediately, as well as all the attacks on our country that are behind a radical minority."  The Foreign Ministry added: "In many countries of the Middle East, calls have appeared in recent days to boycott French goods, especially agricultural food, in addition to more comprehensive calls to demonstrate against France, in sometimes hate speech, published on social media."
