The UAE and France sign a number of agreements and memoranda to strengthen bilateral relations

 The UAE and France signed a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and developing their horizons in various vital fields, within the framework of the visit of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to France.

According to the agency, other agreements included a joint declaration of cooperation between the UAE and France in the area of higher education and a memorandum of understanding for standardising cooperation between the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology and the Avnor Group.

She continued by mentioning the signing of a roadmap for cooperation between the Tawazun Economic Council of the UAE and the General Administration of Armament in the French Ministry of Defense as well as a memorandum of understanding between the Office of the UAE's Special Envoy for Climate Change and the French government in the area of climate action.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center and the National Center for Space Studies in France signed a memorandum of understanding for their cooperation in lunar exploration, she noted, while Technip and the UAE National Petroleum Construction Company signed a contract to develop (NT Energy).
