“Religious Diplomacy” discusses interfaith dialogue to spread the values of peace and tolerance

 Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, in the presence of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, organized the "Religious Diplomacy: International Opportunities and Challenges" conference, which was held at Zayed Theatre, Sorbonne Abu Dhabi campus.

In the presence of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy organized the conference "Religious Diplomacy: International Opportunities and Challenges," which took place at Zayed Theatre on the Sorbonne Abu Dhabi campus.

UAE Academics, religious leaders, notable diplomats, and foreign policy specialists from all around the world attended the meeting. It gave them the chance to talk on the value of religious diplomacy and interfaith cooperation as diplomatic instruments for promoting tolerance and peace and influencing foreign policy. Several religions, including Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and Hinduism, were represented at the conference.

The gathering of distinguished speakers, visitors, and students from various cultural and religious backgrounds, according to Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy Acting Director General Nikolai Mladenov, "represents a meeting point for concerted efforts towards achieving peace and spreading the values of tolerance throughout the world."
