The UAE Minister of State, Noura bint Muhammad Al Kaabi, and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Yamada Kenji, discussed the strategic relations between the UAE and Japan and the existing partnership between them in all sectors, in addition to the opportunities available to strengthen and develop them in all fields.
This came during their meeting on the sidelines of their participation in the United Nations Security Council meeting on "famine and global conflicts resulting from food insecurity," according to the Emirates News Agency. Al-Kaabi stressed - during the meeting - the friendship and cooperation relations between the UAE and Japan, which enjoy the support and interest of the UAE leadership, noting her country's keenness to develop them at various levels in a way that achieves common interests and benefits the two peoples.
The talks between "Al-Kaabi" and "Kenji" touched on the UAE's efforts in global climate action and the promotion of joint cooperation in this field, with the upcoming hosting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) next November at Expo City Dubai.
