For UAE businesses licensed in June 2023, corporate tax filing deadline shifts to December 31, 2024

Dubai: Businesses licensed in June 2023 will now have until December 31, 2024 to file their first corporate tax returns, according to the tax authority.

Earlier, September 30 was the last date for this cohort of companies with a June 2023 license to file.

The extension will come as a much needed relief for these businesses, because many of them were scrambling to meet the end September deadline.

For the vast majority of UAE companies, operating on the January to December financial year, their first tax filing on their 2024 results would be September of 2025.

But it’s only those businesses registered in June of 2023 that had to meet the September 30, 2024 deadline for their first tax filing. And which has been pushed to end December now.
