UAE President and Austrian Chancellor Discuss Regional Developments by Phone
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, held a phone call today with Karl Nehammer, Chancellor of the Republic of Austria, during which they discussed the latest developments in the Middle East. They emphasized the importance of supporting all efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability in the region for the benefit of its peoples.
The call also touched on the announcement of a ceasefire agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel. Both leaders expressed their hope that it would serve as a step toward restoring security and stability in the region and returning to dialogue and diplomatic solutions — the only viable path to overcoming the current crises and safeguarding regional security and stability.
Additionally, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership between their countries, in a manner that promotes prosperity and development for both friendly nations.
