Paris Meets Hollywood Glamour in Zuhair Murad’s Fall-Winter 2026 Couture Collection
Paris, the fashion capital of the world, became a stage for Hollywood elegance as Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad unveiled his Fall-Winter 2025/26 haute couture collection, inspired by the timeless charm of Golden Age cinema.
Evoking the glamour of 1930s and 1940s icons like Barbara Stanwyck and Rita Hayworth, Murad's collection celebrated femininity and power through sophisticated silhouettes and luxurious detailing.
From slanted, sheer gowns with sculpted shoulders to intricate pleats and lavish embroidery, each piece showcased masterful craftsmanship. Murad played with textures—velvet, tulle, chiffon, and silk—while weaving a warm winter palette of black, rose gold, beige tones, and hints of metallic shimmer.
Striking additions included armor-inspired embroidered jackets, pearl-chain accents, georgette evening gowns, and baroque Damascene motifs reimagined in a modern aesthetic. These pieces bridge past and present, redefining feminine strength while honoring couture heritage.
Among the star-studded attendees were Syrian actress Nour Ali, who stunned in a short black cape dress with pink embroidery, and Lebanese actress Elsa Zgheib, dressed in a white fringe gown. Also spotted was jewelry designer Mimi Le Blanc (Mariam Al Abyad), adding her signature sparkle to the elegant affair.
Murad’s collection is more than a tribute—it’s a cinematic journey that echoes with nostalgia while embracing the evolving spirit of the contemporary woman.
