 UAE Participates in the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries in Turkmenistan


The United Arab Emirates reaffirmed its commitment to global cooperation and sustainable development by participating in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, held in Turkmenistan.


On the sidelines of the event, H.E. Suhail Al Mazrouei held a series of bilateral meetings, including with H.E. Rashid Meredov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and H.E. Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye. The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration in energy, infrastructure, and transport—key sectors for mutual growth and connectivity.


Accompanying H.E. Al Mazrouei was an official delegation that included H.E. Ahmed Al Hameli, UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan, along with representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.


The UAE’s engagement in the conference highlights its ongoing efforts to support landlocked developing nations and contribute to global dialogue on inclusive development.
