 UAE Teams Join Efforts to Combat Wildfires in Albania

In line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, specialized teams from the United Arab Emirates have arrived in Tirana, Albania, to support urgent firefighting operations in response to widespread wildfires across the country.

The UAE’s contribution includes aircraft, equipment, and essential firefighting materials, deployed in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, and the Ministry of Interior represented by the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority.

This initiative reflects the UAE leadership’s deep commitment to solidarity with the Government and people of Albania in facing this unprecedented environmental disaster. It is a testament to the enduring values of humanitarian support and international cooperation that the UAE consistently upholds.
