UAE, Türkiye Presidents discuss bilateral relations, regional developments in phone call
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received today a telephone call from His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkey. During the call, they discussed bilateral relations and joint work to enhance them in various fields that serve the development priorities and common interests of the two countries.
During the call, the two sides also discussed a number of regional and international issues and developments, most notably the efforts being made to address the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. They stressed the need to maintain the ceasefire in the Strip and to continue the flow of humanitarian aid in sufficient quantities and without obstacles to alleviate the suffering of its residents.
Both sides stressed the importance of moving quickly towards a permanent and just peace based on the "two-state solution" as the way to achieve stability and security in the region and build a better future for all its peoples.
