Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and the US Chamber of Commerce collaborate to boost investments

The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a memorandum of cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce to enhance investment opportunities, exchange experiences and strengthen communication channels between the business communities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the United States of America.

According to a press release issued today, the memorandum comes in light of the strong economic relations between the United Arab Emirates and the United States, which is one of the UAE’s largest trading partners globally. Non-oil trade between the two countries has witnessed continuous growth in recent years, supported by expanding cooperation in the technology, energy, advanced industry, financial services and healthcare sectors.

According to the latest data issued by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre, the volume of non-oil bilateral trade in goods reached AED 111 billion (equivalent to $30.2 billion) during the first nine months of 2025, achieving an annual growth rate of 10.2% compared to AED 100.7 billion ($27.4 billion) recorded during the first nine months of 2024.

The UAE hosts thousands of American companies operating in various sectors, while mutual investments are witnessing continuous growth that reflects mutual confidence in the business environment and economic opportunities in both countries.

This memorandum will contribute to strengthening this momentum and providing an institutional platform to support the growth of joint investments and expand cooperation between the private sector in Abu Dhabi and the United States
