Dubai Fashion Week kicks off from Milan to Dubai with a global show by Alberta Ferretti

Dubai Design District (d3), the region’s leading creative destination and part of the TECOM Group, and the Arab Fashion Council organize Dubai Fashion Week.

 Dubai Fashion Week kicked off from February 1st to 6th, contributing to consolidating Dubai’s leading position on the global fashion scene.

The event attracted a leading global and regional elite of designers and industry pioneers with an opening show by the Italian fashion house “Alberta Ferretti”, which launched its Autumn/Winter 2026-2027 season with its first show in the region, presenting a collection entitled “Portrait of a Lady”, in a move that reflects Dubai’s growing presence on the global fashion map.

The show moved directly from Milan to Dubai, confirming the event's status as an international platform for cultural and creative exchange. The collection blended fine Italian craftsmanship with the spirit of the contemporary woman, and designer Lorenzo Serafini presented a vision inspired by the strength of women in the Victorian era with modern touches that highlight confidence, ambition, and elegance
