"Let's create a more tolerant world"... "Dubai for Women and Children" instills the values ​​of coexistence in school students

  

Her Excellency Sheikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director General of the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, affirmed that instilling the values ​​of tolerance in children is a fundamental pillar in building cohesive, safe, and humane societies, noting that building human awareness begins in childhood.

This came in the context of the organization of a community event under the slogan “Let’s decorate a tolerant world,” which targeted school students in conjunction with the International Day for Tolerance and World Kindness Day, with the aim of consolidating the concepts of tolerance, empathy and acceptance of difference in an interactive environment.

Al Mansouri explained that the event embodies the foundation’s vision of raising generations that believe in the values ​​of tolerance and understand the essence of coexistence, adding that the foundation continues its commitment to providing a supportive environment that develops children’s abilities to express themselves and strengthens their belonging to high values.

The event, which is an extension of the foundation’s approach to integrating the arts into educational programs, witnessed great interaction from children with inspiring artistic activities, most notably the collective coloring of murals expressing peace and acceptance.

The event also included expressive activities in which children spontaneously expressed the concepts of tolerance and coexistence, before concluding with the release of a documentary video on social media bearing the event's title, delivering a powerful visual message that reflects the organization's commitment to building a more tolerant future.
