Turkey has recorded 1612 infections and 53 new deaths from the Corona virus, and Turkish Health Minister Fakhruddin Kujah said the first yesterday, Wednesday, that Turkey is witnessing a second peak of the Corona virus outbreak due to neglect in weddings and other social events, amid an accelerated increase in the number of daily infections and deaths due to the virus.
Deaths due to Corona jumped to their highest level since mid-May, when general isolation measures were in place across the country, and new cases of infection rose to reach rates in mid-June at about 1,600 cases. Ankara reopened the economy and lifted restrictions on weekend activities and some age groups in early June.
