Dubai to host a "virtual" summit to explore prospects for tourism recovery in the UAE next June
Elevate World, the UAE-based global travel and tourism group, is organizing a virtual tourism summit from June 2 to 4, 2026, with the participation of more than 250 senior leaders and partners in the sector, hotels, travel agents, and tour operators from around the world.
According to a press release issued today, all hotel and destination partners will be hosted from Elevate World’s headquarters in Dubai, which will be the main hub for the event, while international buyers will participate virtually from around the world.
The summit, which is limited to registered participants only, aims to explore the prospects of the tourism sector in the UAE and the Middle East region, and to discuss the readiness and full preparedness to seize the opportunities of the strong recovery expected for tourism activity during the last quarter of this year.
This summit comes to formulate a new roadmap towards recovery, to consolidate global confidence in the sector’s ability to recover quickly and regain real momentum, and to confirm full readiness to welcome the world and prepare to seize the largest share of global tourist flows.
According to the organizers, the list of participants includes a selection of the most prominent tourism destination partners and governmental and private bodies, most notably the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism, the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, Miral, and Wynn Marjan Island Resort.
Samir Hamada, CEO of Elevate World, said, “We decided to launch this event to provide hotels and tour operators with a unique opportunity to network, plan, discuss promising opportunities, and exchange ideas in order to build a better future for the sector.”
