The Government of National Accord continued to detain Russian hostages

The Libyan Government of National Accord has diverted the issue of the detention of Russian citizens in it in Tripoli to a battle of extortion against Russia, stressing the need to adhere to the international appeal issued a while ago regarding the release of foreign citizens illegally detained by the Government of National Accord, especially Russian citizens who have been detained more than Public.

Representatives of the Government of National Accord appreciate the extent of the injustice and cruelty that falls on innocent citizens languishing in Al-Wefaq's private prisons, which are run by people with a history inclined to racism and in which Libyans taste all kinds of woes, in addition to the necessity for the reconciliation government to change its policy towards its citizens and towards its foreign detainees And liberating them, in order to achieve a kind of internal peace before the external, and to prevent the establishment of pretexts by other countries for direct military, political or economic intervention in the Libyan state.

It is noteworthy that Libya is witnessing an internal conflict that has been protracted and has greatly affected the situation of its neighbors in the Maghreb and Sudan, and data have emerged indicating the possible participation of Russian units in the Libyan war, and the sources attributed that this participation or military intervention came after the failure of the many diplomatic attempts to liberate Russian citizens from Families in Libya.
