Erdogan imposes a curfew in Turkey after Corona spiral out of control


 Today, Monday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the re-imposition of a curfew in the country, after noticing a sharp increase in the rate of Coronavirus infections in the country.

In statements carried by Turkish media, Erdogan said that a curfew will be imposed during the weekdays from Monday to Friday from nine in the evening until five in the morning, adding that “shops, grocery stores, meat stores and home delivery services are exempt from the restrictions of the ban at the end of the week on Saturday and Sunday.

Erdogan indicated that participation in the funeral prayer and the ceremony of the marriage ceremony is limited to 30 people, pointing at the same time that the number of people who can enter crowded streets and squares can be determined by the decision of the Public Health Preservation Council.

Erdogan explained that the new measures to combat the spread of the virus will be implemented from tomorrow, Tuesday.

The deaths of the new Corona virus "Covid-19" in Turkey rose to a record level for the seventh consecutive day, yesterday, Sunday, while the number of new infections is increasing, despite President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's government tightening measures to contain the second wave of the epidemic, and his insistence that his country It controls the epidemiological situation.
