France: We are working with Egypt to impose stability in the region and to stop Turkey's hostile policy

The French Presidency affirmed that it is working with Egypt for the sake of stability in the region, praising the strategic partnership between the two sides.

The French presidency said that it is working with Egypt to push the Libyan dialogue forward, and that it is pushing with Egypt towards security and stability in the region in the Middle East.

Al-Hadath TV quoted the French presidency as saying, "We are talking in Libya with the commander of the Libyan army, Khalifa Haftar, and with most of the parties, to make the dialogue succeed within the United Nations."

The French presidency stressed that Turkey's policies in the region are hostile, in reference to its insistence on igniting the conflict with Greece and Cyprus in the eastern Mediterranean region.

The Egyptian-French policies are in agreement in a number of files, including strong coordination to resolve the Libyan crisis and the dispute over gas exploration in the eastern Mediterranean.
