The UAE has despatched a plane carrying 27 tonnes of food and medical supplies to help Ukrainian migrants in Poland, according to state news agency WAM. The move was "part of the UAE's ongoing aid support to help alleviate the humanitarian ramifications suffered by displaced Ukrainians and refugees," according to the statement.

The UAE ambassador to Ukraine, Salem Ahmed Al-Kaabi, expressed his country's willingness to help give humanitarian relief as well as the required support and assistance to Ukrainian refugees, as part of the Emirate's overall strategy to help alleviate suffering around the world.

Since the beginning of the Ukrainian crisis in February, the UAE has sent six flights to Poland and Moldova, delivering 156 tonnes of food, medical aid, and ambulances as part of a $5 million commitment in response to an urgent UN plea.

The UAE, the pioneer of the humanitarian world, fulfills its promise after the request of the United Nations and sends full support to Ukrainian refugees in Poland, so that the UAE humanitarian support continues to the world. The United Arab Emirates
