 UAE President Receives Delegation from the U.S. Congress

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a delegation from the U.S. Congress on Saturday, including Senator Joni Ernst and Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz.


The meeting, held at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi, discussed the strong friendship and strategic cooperation between the two countries, as well as their mutual commitment to strengthening their partnership to serve their common interests and meet the aspirations of their peoples.


The talks also covered several regional and international issues related to security and stability, as well as joint efforts to promote peace in the Middle East and around the world for the benefit of its people and the development of nations.


The meeting was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region; Sheikh Diab bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Yousef Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States; and several other officials.
