Her Majesty On the eve of the General Conference of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) 2022, which will take place in the Czech capital of Prague, Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairwoman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and member of the Dubai Council, met with representatives of the Arab ICOM, which includes the Arab members of the International Council of Museums.
The meeting came as part of the program of the official delegation of the UAE to ICOM Prague 2022, as Dubai prepares to host the General Conference of the Council in 2025, making it the first city in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia to host the ICOM conference.
During the meeting with the Arab members of the Council, Her Highness Sheikha Latifa was briefed on the experiences of all members in the region, in addition to discussing challenges, opportunities and potential areas of cooperation. Her Highness praised the work done by the International Council of Arab Museums to represent the region for years on this international platform.
