 The Secretary-General of the Arab Air Carriers Association, Abdel Wahab Tufaha, revealed that the UAE is the third largest country in the world in international air traffic and air transport activity after the United States and China, noting that the UAE plays a pivotal role in the sector globally.

"The UAE occupies a prominent position in the connection between the east, west, north, and south, which is an extension of its history, being a point of convergence amongst people in the world, which symbolizes the essence of the aviation industry," Tufaha further stated.
