The UAE Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) confirmed that its services are now subject to a price increase of AED100.

“There are additional fees for all the services on the ICP regarding the new updates of AED100 for each service,” confirmed an ICP agent.

The price hike will apply to services including Emirates ID, resident visas, and visit visas.

New visa and Emirates ID costs

Emirates ID (depending on the number of years renewed)

Old price – AED270

New price – AED370

One-month visit visa

Old price – AED270

New price – AED370

Additionally, other ICP services are also subject to the addition of AED100 over the previous price.

This follows changes implemented to the visa system since the start of 2023, UAE suspended the option for visit visa holders to extend their visas from within the country, the new rule requires tourists to exit the country and return should they wish to stay longer.

However, tourists can take advantage of a system of same-day visa status changes, or by visiting a neighboring country to the UAE until they receive their new visas. This process needs to be completed via a travel agent.
