Silveira received the Minister of State for International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, Reem Al Hashimy, along with his government delegation – also made up of Arab investors, for a meeting to discuss partnerships between the two countries, mainly in promoting the generation and use of renewable energies and prospecting for new investments in Brazil.
“We will identify and work together to establish productive projects in the area of green energy that will be important for Brazil and will also be for UAE investors and funds. We will seek practical and convergent solutions that can minimize the climate issue and with direct impacts on the Brazilian nation, which still suffers from inequalities. We will not disappoint investors who come here to contribute to the development of our country”, said the minister, reinforcing the work to guarantee predictability and legal security for investors.
