The UAE and Georgia are discussing ways to stimulate joint economic growth

 His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, conveyed the greetings of the wise leadership of the UAE to His Excellency Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia, and its wishes for the leadership and people of Georgia for further prosperity, progress and prosperity. This came during the meeting that brought together His Excellency Al Zeyoudi and the Prime Minister of Georgia in the capital, Tbilisi. In the presence of Ahmed Ibrahim Al Nuaimi, the UAE Ambassador to Georgia, in conjunction with the continuation of the joint efforts of the two friendly countries to benefit from the trade and investment opportunities provided by the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement that was officially signed on the tenth of this October.

This meeting comes as part of the official visit of His Excellency Al-Zeyoudi, heading an Emirati delegation to participate in the Silk Road Forum in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, which is considered one of the important international events for trade and investment, in which more than 2,000 leaders, ministers, policy makers, government officials and business leaders from 60 countries participate.During the meeting, the two sides praised the common will of the two friendly countries to advance bilateral relations to a new level of partnership and mutual economic growth under the umbrella of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, and agreed to continue working together to ensure that the business communities and economies of the two countries achieve the best possible benefit from the agreement.

His Excellency Dr. Thani Al-Zeyoudi also held a meeting with His Excellency Levan Davitashvili, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, to explore ways to increase bilateral non-oil trade to exceed $1.5 billion by 2028, in accordance with the objectives of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement signed between the two sides.The Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the UAE and Georgia is based on a solid foundation of growing trade and investment relations between the two sides.
