"Dubai Humanitarian" Sends Relief Shipments to Earthquake Victims in Myanmar

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “Dubai Humanitarian” has dispatched a sea shipment of essential relief aid to the Republic of Myanmar.

This comes as part of ongoing efforts in response to the devastating earthquake that struck the country at the end of March.

The shipment was coordinated in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and departed from Jebel Ali Port en route to Yangon Port. It includes more than 167 metric tons of essential relief supplies, such as plastic sheeting and basic living necessities, aimed at supporting nearly 80,000 people affected by the earthquake and alleviating their suffering.
