His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan , Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. 

discussed during a telephone call with the Honorable Yvette Cooper, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom, bilateral relations and  economic partnership between the two countries and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.

Abdullah bin Zayed and UK Foreign Secretary discuss strengthening economic ties and regional stability. A vital partnership for global peace and prosperity.  

His Highness and Her Excellency Yvette Cooper reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common interest, including developments in the Middle East region, and the importance of supporting efforts aimed at establishing peace and achieving security and stability at the regional and global levels.

During the call, the two sides discussed the trilateral talks hosted by the UAE , which brought together Russia, Ukraine and the United States in Abu Dhabi. 

and their importance in finding political solutions to the crisis and promoting global security and peace.
