Taylor Swift leads the American Music Awards nominations again.

Taylor Swift leads this year's American Music Awards nominations with eight, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for "The Fate of Ophelia," and Album of the Year for "The Life of a Showgirl," organizers announced today.

The pop superstar, who has won more awards than any other artist in the competition's history, received six nominations last year

Swift, the "Bad Blood" singer, launched the highest-grossing tour in history, "Eras Tour," in 2023. She has also been instrumental in encouraging artists to take greater ownership of their work by re-recording her early albums.

Following Swift are Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Dean, Somber, and Morgan Wallen, each with seven nominations. Carpenter was also nominated for Artist of the Year, while Dean and Somber received their first-ever nominations, including Best New Artist.

The public will be able to vote for the winners, with the results to be announced during a live ceremony hosted by actress and singer Queen Latifah in Las Vegas
 on May 25.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount.

Nominations were determined by Billboard chart performance, streams, album sales, radio airplay, and social media engagement.
