Qatar stock Exchange lost 4.3 billion dirhams













The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange, during the sessions of the past week, decreased by 1.45%, losing 135.21 points to close at 9184.97 points, and the market capital lost 4.3 billion dirhams to close at 524.93 billion riyals, a decrease of 0.81% from last week, and the trading volume reached 1.3 billion Shares worth 1.8 billion riyals through the implementation of 41.14 thousand transactions.

6 sectors of the Qatar Stock Exchange fell, led by the industrial sector by 2.10%, followed by the communications sector by 1.28%, followed by the goods and consumer services sector by 0.76%, then the banking and financial services sector by 0.63%, then the real estate sector by 0.15%, then the insurance sector by 0.10%, while the transportation sector increased by 0.50%.

And 22 stocks fell on the Qatar Stock Exchange, led by Doha Bank by 5.08%, while 23 shares, led by Salam, increased by 24.48%, while cinema and general insurance shares at the levels of the previous week.

The Qatari Investors Group companies, Al Rayan Bank, Qatar Electricity and Water, have announced their intention to disclose the financial statements for the period ending on June 30, 2020, on Tuesday, July 21 for the first day, on Monday, July 13 of the second, and on Sunday, July 19 for the third.
