Turkey continues its intransigence and provocations in the Mediterranean

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias asserted that there is no space for dialogue with the provocations carried out by Turkey in the eastern Mediterranean.

This came during a phone call between Dendias and his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, regarding developments in the situation between Turkey and Greece.

Dendias said in a tweet on his account on the "Twitter" site: "I spoke on the phone to Mevlut Cavusoglu ... We discussed the conditions that will allow us to meet again in the near future."

Turkey continues its intransigence and provocations in the Mediterranean, while Greece criticizes Ankara's behavior, demanding sanctions and an embargo on arms sales to Ankara.

Last Thursday, Dendias met with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of the German Parliament Wolfgang Schaeuble, Chairman of the European Affairs Committee in the Bundestag, Guenter Kreichbaum, and other senior officials.

The Greek minister mentioned the impact of Turkey's deviant behavior in Libya, Syria, Iraq, the Caucasus, and the seas around Cyprus, southern Kastelorizo and other Greek islands.
