The UAE and Brazil issued a joint statement following the official visit of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva to the UAE on April 15. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the Brazilian President and members of his delegation to discuss opportunities for expanding strategic partnerships between both countries.

The UAE and Brazil have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Climate Action, reaffirming their commitment to multi-party efforts in tackling climate change. With the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and H.E. Luis Inácio Lula da Silva, the two sides also exchanged a joint statement to enhance their strategic partnership in various areas, including renewable energy, sustainable development, education, and more.

UAE and Brazil governments sign a memorandum of understanding on climate action, reflecting their commitment to addressing climate change. Together they aim to promote multi-party cooperation to tackle the issue, and boost their ambitions towards sustainable development.

In the presence of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and ex-President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Jair Bolsonaro exchanged a statement with Gov. Rui Costa and Khaldoon Al Mubarak, CEO of Mubadala Group. They discussed the Makoba project, a sustainable agricultural initiative that will bring sustainable diesel fuel production to thousands of rural families in the Bahia region

Both nations are committed to expanding strategic partnerships in various key fields, including renewable energy, science & tech, sustainable development, education, climate action, multilateralism, defense, and aviation.
