The UAE is building a field hospital to support our Sudanese refugees in Chad

In implementation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Head of State "God saved him," the UAE has initiated a field hospital in the city of "Ammaras" Chadian to support Sudanese brothers in the Republic of Chad.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement that the start of establishing this field hospital with the contribution of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works, the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works and the Emirates Red Crescent Authority comes within the framework of the humanitarian, relief and medical support provided by the UAE to the Sudanese brothers affected by the situation. The difficult humanitarian situation caused by the conflict in the sisterly Republic of Sudan since the beginning of last April and in support of the friendly Republic of Chad in the framework of responding to mitigate the effects of the humanitarian situation resulting from the influx of large numbers of Sudanese refugees due to the current situation in their country.

The Ministry affirmed the UAE's commitment to strengthening its humanitarian efforts, global cooperation and solidarity, and the continuation of its humanitarian approach based on providing protection for civilians, especially for the most needy groups of patients, children, the elderly and women, and extending a helping hand to countries in times of need.
