The results of a recent global research study conducted by Anthology, which specializes in education solutions for the year 2023, revealed that 56% of male and female students in the Emirates believe that artificial intelligence is revolutionizing education, according to 6 main tracks, which include teaching and learning methods, interaction and influential participation of learners, and providing... Specialized learning experiences, generating exceptional ideas in application and innovation, and increasing efficiency, quality, and speed of completing tasks.
The study showed that UAE students most use generative artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT, as 32% of them use these tools on a weekly basis, and their reliance on artificial intelligence exceeds the use of it by students in both the United States and the United Kingdom by three times.
Regarding the role of artificial intelligence in higher education, 56% of students responded that it will revolutionize teaching and learning methodologies, and indicated that they are convinced of the potential collaborative capabilities of artificial intelligence, as 40% of them say that artificial intelligence enhances student interaction and participation, while 38% believe of UAE students feel that AI can deliver personalized learning experiences.
