Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, the activities of the ninth edition of “Union Fortress 9” will begin today on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
The Ministry of Defense, represented by the leadership of the Presidential Guard, invited the public to attend and watch the military parade, which can accommodate more than 24,000 people, and aims to enhance pride in the members of our armed forces, their role in confronting potential challenges and threats professionally and efficiently, and their great sacrifices in serving the nation and defending its wealth.
“Union Fortress 9” includes many activities, most notably the joint military display of various formations and units of the armed forces, which reflects the high readiness and complete and precise coordination among them, in addition to the implementation of field scenarios and maneuvers that embody the advanced combat capabilities and capabilities of members of our armed forces in the theater of military operations.
