Sheikh Sultan appoints Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi as Sharjah Police chief

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree appointing the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Sharjah Police.

The decree stipulated appointing Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi as the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, effective from June 1, 2024.

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved a financial promotion for 450 non-commissioned officers working in Sharjah Police General Headquarters until they join and graduate from the officers course.

The officers course will be organised by the Sharjah Police General Headquarters in co-ordination with the Sharjah Police Sciences Academy.

This was announced by Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, via the Direct Line Programme broadcast live from Sharjah Radio and TV.

Thanking Sheikh SultanSheikh Sultan for his boost, Al Shamsi stressed Sharjah Ruler’s continuous keenness on supporting those working in the police and providing them with all means of decent life through his continuous boosts that would bring happiness to them and their families.

Al Shamsi extended his congratulations and blessings to all Sharjah PoliceSharjah Police personnel who were included in Sheikh Sultan’s decision, hoping that the boost would motivate them to double their efforts to achieve excellence and be in the lead in their careers to serve their country and society.
