George Clooney Sparks Buzz with Revelation About His Marriage to Amal Alamuddin
International star George Clooney made a surprising revelation about his marriage to human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin, stating in a recent interview that the couple has never had a single argument throughout their ten years of marriage.
Clooney, 63, appeared on CBS Mornings with host Gayle King, where he reflected on their relationship saying: "I remember when we were here with you before and said we've never had an argument. We still haven't. In fact, we're trying to find something to disagree on."
The Oscar-winning actor added emotionally, "I feel like the luckiest man in the world for meeting this extraordinary woman. It’s like I hit the jackpot in life. Not a day goes by that I’m not grateful for this blessing."
His comments drew mixed reactions online. One user on X (formerly Twitter) sarcastically remarked, "They must have separate bedrooms," while others expressed admiration for the rare nature of such a relationship.
Amal, 46, had previously revealed in a 2022 interview that the secret to their successful marriage comes down to two key factors: "99% of it is luck—meeting the right person. The rest is about openness and not being cynical. I was surprised by how open and unguarded George was from the beginning, and everything just flowed naturally."
The couple tied the knot in September 2014 in a lavish ceremony in Venice, attended by Hollywood elites like Matt Damon and Emily Blunt. They welcomed twins, Ella and Alexander, in 2017.
On their family life, Clooney shared: "Our kids are seven now—it’s a wonderful age. They're curious and funny. Like any parents, we think our kids are special, but they genuinely make us laugh every day."
Clooney is currently preparing for a new Broadway production titled Good Night, and Good Luck, adapted from his 2005 film of the same name.
