The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, set to be hosted in the United States, is expected to generate a staggering economic impact of $41 billion, according to the latest “East Mondial – Club World Cup 2025” report by Asharq, the tenth in its financial sports series.
The expanded tournament will feature 32 clubs, running until July 13, with five Arab teams participating:
Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia)
Al Ain (UAE)
Al Ahly (Egypt)
Espérance (Tunisia)
Wydad (Morocco)
The report explores the competition format, participating teams, hosting stadiums, and provides detailed analysis of the tournament’s finances, including FIFA’s spending, projected revenues, and prize distribution.
