Hamdan Al Mazrouei meets with the Indonesian ambassador and affirms that the "Crescent" will continue its initiatives in Indonesia.

His Excellency Yuda Nugraha, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the UAE, praised the noble humanitarian stances of the UAE and its wise leadership towards his country, and appreciated the qualitative initiatives undertaken by the UAE that embody its civilizational message in consolidating the values ​​of human solidarity and supporting development and reconstruction efforts.

This came during the reception of His Excellency Dr. Hamdan Musallam Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, for the Indonesian Ambassador at the Authority’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

His Excellency welcomed the Ambassador’s visit, which he described as falling within the context of ongoing coordination to enhance prospects for bilateral cooperation and develop partnerships in various fields related to humanitarian work within the Republic of Indonesia.

His Excellency affirmed that the UAE, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, continues its firm approach of standing by the Indonesian people in all circumstances and pays great attention to humanitarian and developmental issues that affect their lives, noting that the UAE’s humanitarian presence in Indonesia is witnessing growing momentum thanks to the diligent follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority.

He added that the Emirates Red Crescent Authority is moving forward with the implementation of its humanitarian and development programs and initiatives in Indonesia, based on the deep fraternal ties that unite the Emirati and Indonesian peoples, and in commitment to its humanitarian approach based on delivering support to those who deserve it without discrimination, reflecting the system of Emirati values ​​and its strategic vision in sustaining giving and improving the quality of life.

For his part, the Indonesian ambassador expressed his deep appreciation for the humanitarian and development initiatives implemented by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority in his country across various vital sectors, stressing that they have a tangible qualitative impact in supporting development and reconstruction efforts, and contribute to accelerating the pace of recovery and improving humanitarian conditions on the ground, especially in regions that have witnessed natural disasters in recent years, thus restoring life to normal and enhancing social stability.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Ahmed Sari Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, and His Excellency Sultan Al Ketbi, Deputy Secretary General for Development and International Aid, along with a number of officials from the Authority.
