Crisis erupts between Zamalek and their rival Ceramica 24 hours before the decisive Egyptian league match

Ceramica Cleopatra FC of Egypt confirmed that it has indeed sent an official letter to the Egyptian Clubs Association relinquishing its share of tickets for its match against Zamalek, scheduled for Wednesday evening at Cairo Stadium in the final round of the Egyptian League Championship group stage.

Zamalek had issued a statement that caused a crisis with Ceramica Cleopatra, as it stated that there was nothing new regarding the allocation for our fans other than the previously specified allocation, which had already been officially offered to Zamalek fans on the (Tazkarti) website 48 hours earlier.

Zamalek's statement added, "In order to make the picture clear to our fans and club members, the club will announce any new developments in this situation through its official platforms, in order to guarantee the principle of transparency with which the club deals with everyone."

Ceramica stated in an official statement that it had already contacted the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association and Tazkarti Company, to inform them of the club’s waiver of its share of tickets for its match against Zamalek at the end of the league, in favor of the fans of the White Castle.

Ceramica Cleopatra Club confirmed in its letter to the League of Clubs and Tazkarti Company that it has no objection to giving up its share of the tickets, which amounts to 15,000 tickets, in favor of Zamalek Club at Cairo Stadium.

Ceramica Cleopatra indicated in a media statement its commitment to its decision and to give up its share to the Zamalek fans, categorically denying all the rumors that have been circulating in the past few hours regarding the club not sending official letters.

Zamalek needs a draw in that match in order to officially win the Egyptian League title.
