Al-Bastaki emphasized this during the meeting held at the university's headquarters in Academic City, in the presence of Professor Hussein Al-Ahmad, Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs.

The university is preparing to open an office for the Beijing Institute of Technology on its campus after completing the necessary approvals, which will allow for the launch of dual degree programs at the master's and doctoral levels, in addition to cooperation in bachelor's degree programs, which will enhance scientific research and innovation and serve the business communities.

He stressed the importance of expanding cooperation in advanced technologies and artificial intelligence through joint research, exchange of academic expertise, and leveraging the strengths of participating educational institutions.

During a tour of the campus, the Chinese delegation visited the colleges, research laboratories, Huawei's laboratory, and the Confucius Institute for Chinese Language Education. They praised the level of excellence achieved by the University of Dubai in higher education and scientific research and expressed their hope to expand the horizons of joint cooperation during the next stage in a way that contributes to supporting innovation and sustainable development.
